The Blygold PoluAl anti-corrosive treatment is the Rolls Royce of protective coatings for finned-tube coils. It is a uniform 7-step process of applying a conversion layer and then a UV resistant, metallic-impregnated polyurethane top layer. The unique properties of Blygold PoluAl and its certified application process have made it the total solution for the coating specialist. Blygold PoluAl has excellent UV resistance, chemical resistance, and impact resistance, covers all cut fin edges, does not crack or flake, and does not bridge between the fins; even on fins with enhanced geometric designs. The thinness of the dried Blygold PoluAl topcoat (1 mil ) and its lack of organic pigments minimize the negative effects that other protective coatings have on the performance characteristics of heat exchanging equipment, such as, pressure drop and heat transfer losses. In addition, a low solvent content and lack of toxins in the chemical composition of Blygold PoluAl make it environmentally safer than some of the other available coatings.
